Elegantly shaped trees: pruned tree in a pot or Bonsai

Cham, 2020

From juniper to yew: a woody plant with the right pruning in the right pot looks fantastic and can be individually adapted to its environment. Bonsai means “tree in a pot” in Japanese and is used here as a synonym for topiary shrubs. Each plant is unique and needs pruning once or twice a year. Depending on preference, topiary trees can be complemented with ground-covering herbaceous perennials.

The choice of pot plays an important role. The clay works of Atelier Vierkant are particularly suitable, because each pot is unique. Made from clay and by hand, they can be ordered in various shapes, colours and structures and are much more than just pots. They are used specifically as a design element and enhance any garden and terrace with their uniqueness.
